This is all about the boys, when they like to be beautiful and gallant, and when they place particular importance on physical appearance. Dandy, they were called in the past, between the late 18th- and early 19th-century in Britain, today we don’t have a name anymore for them. Most probably it would be just a normal boy.

The aristocratic lifestyle and the tailored wardrobe is at the moment exhibited in The Museum of Art Rhode Island School of Design. Definitely something what I would like to go to visit if I would be in the neighbour hood.

CATFISH, TROUT, SEASHELL AND MANY BIRDS

When it comes to sun and sea, water and nature, I am one of the first to don’t miss out. Today I found something very delicate and exquisite. Fabrics of high quality combined with very elaborated printed hand drawings on silk scarfs.

Sabina Savage is the name of the creator of this fantastic art works. She is a fashion and print designer with a huge love for texture and shape. Born in Summerset (England) she followed her dream and without speaking one word of French, she moved to Paris and graduated a few years after from a prestigious Paris fashion school. She moved back to London, worked for several designers, for ex. Alexander McQueen, and created her own very unique hand laboured silk scarf label.

All products at Sabina Savage are hand designed in the UK and printed in Como, Italy.

KISSES FROM THE SUN

379d8421e97f4242ddfd8c7024d09a76Cat sunglasses and freckles, that’s how a cool summer girl jumps into the upcoming hot summer days. I found this “miraculous” image on Flickr.  Glory Lily by Victoria Zeoli, and a perfectly fitting “freckly” poem by Niamh Galea (via here)

"Freckles"
freckles area thing so sweet,
as they fall onto a young girls cheek,

fine brown sugar sprinkled on the nose,
with pretty freckles a young girl glows,

playing in the sea having fun,
young girls receive kisses from the sun.
