Yesterday I read this little story written byPaulo Coelho. Its about a man who tried to find himself in his women. (Couldn’t stop thinking about this little story)
“Two fire fighters walk in a forest in order to extinguish a small fire. As they come back out to the edge of a stream, the face of one is covered in soot, and the face of the other is absolutely spotless.
I ask you: Which of the two will wash his face?”
“That’s a silly question. Of course the one, whose face is full of soot.”
“Wrong: The one, whose face is full of soot will look at the others and will think that his face looks exactly like the others. The one with the clean face will see that his comrades face is full of soot and will say to himself: I have to wash my face.”
Paolo Coelho (The Zahir)
I translated the text, most probably there are some mistakes
By the way, the zebra on the image really exists. Her name is Zoe, she lives in Hawaii and she is the only captive golden Zebra in the world. Image viahere.
This is just a small collection of artist and freelance illustrator Cate Parr‘s illustrations.
All of them are absolutely magical. Most of the ones I choose here for this post are with the closed eyes. Dreamy, soft and colorful images with just a few brush strokes.
“With its fluidity and spontaneity it’s the mistakes and the unexpected that makes watercolour so alluring.” (Cate Parr)
Words are not my strength and I am not gonna spoil those images with my writing, simply enjoy what you see. Fantastic and dreamy, smiling models, beautiful.Mary Katrantzou f/w 2013 backstage images. This is amazing!
Dresses filled with dreams…maybe the reflection of the parallel universe? How beautiful they are, just imagine to wear one.
Inspired by french movies, people in the 50′s and 60′s, geometry, celestial objects (such as stars, nebulae, galaxies),landscapes and mineralogy. Ceren Kilic is a mixed media artist and graphic designer currently living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. Her work is influenced by the contrast between solid look of the future and the sophisticated way of living of the past.
I think I would choose to wear this one, to be in “Dark blue with birds”.

I’ve been hypnotized by those images captured of the video by director Genki Ito. This fantastic mirror effect which still rules the fashion and art at this moment, the ”time displacement” effect, the colors and of course the urban style fashion collection for s/s 2013 of Taro Horiuchi make the video (find it all the way down) a very unique mesmerizing experience.
