To be beautiful, that is the girls biggest obsession. But beauty lies in the eye of the beholder and what for one is unattractive and plain, for an other it might be delicate, fascinating and wonderful.

The 19-year-old Hungarian Photographer Flora Borsi makes us think with her Real Life Models series. How the models of contorted abstract paintings must have looked like?  Through an amazing photo manipulation of famous paintings of Kees van Dongen, Rudolf Hausner and Picasso she gives us examples of the real life models of those times.

THE TIMELESS MAN

timelessman3I don’t know what you are looking for in life when it comes to find the right man, but I think a timeless man is something what we all wish to have. Now, some of you might have found him already but some for sure are still looking for him but watching these images captured by Roch Armando I would say that many of you girls and guys agree with me. I’ve had that image saved for a while now on my computer. A stunning image of the Polish photo model Plewinska Aldona, a girl with lots of energy and ideas to life.

Despite that I’m from Italy I am a big fan of girls with blonde hair and Nordic strong, pale facial features. Maybe that’s why I am so fascinated by albino model Nastya Zhidkova. This innocent sad face, the mystic in her eyes and the way the images were styled might tell a story about a princess from the north and a………WILD FLOWER.

A LINE THE MODELS LIKE

Here we are, in NY. The fashion week is all around and a little rain keeps falling. Some care and open their umbrellas, the others don’t mind….it doesn’t look like a heavy rain. This is a perfect photography, a perfect catch. The girl, the outfit, the position, the “watch up into the sky” the people around. The people look happy, like they are having a great day, they are at work, a work they like. Hanne Gaby Odiele, the main character just came from the Alexander Wang show s/s 2013, I think. If I’m not wrong she still wears the hair stripe (electrical tape) which divides the hair into two parts. I like when the girls keep things on them after the show. That means they like it, they find it cool and feel to keep on carrying it for the day, or week or month…

Ruby Aldridge keeps it as well…The line all the models like…

and here they are at work…with amazing futuristic, minimalistic, sharp cut dresses…which glow in the dark…
